A day of pie making

 

 

For those that love pies, this is a day of pure enjoyment. We start by making a classic shortcrust pastry. Then we use half of it for a scrumptious steak and ale pie and tuck into (read more) that for lunch, with a bit more ale ( if you like). In the afternoon session we use the rest of the pastry to make a gorgeous chicken and leek pie. We finish the day making a fish pie that Scarborough would be proud of – plenty to take away!
